Casting
Many media players and TVs have a built-in casting system. This means you can use your media player to play your favourite films and series via your smartphone, tablet, or from your computer. This function is called Chromecast with media players using Android OS, and Airplay with Apple TV. While playing, simply search for your device and cast to your TV. Using the Airplay function requires an iPhone, iPad, or MacBook.

External Chromecast
You can connect your smartphone, tablet or computer with your TV via an external Chromecast as well. In that way, you can cast directly to your TV. All you need is a stable Internet connection and a Chromecast.
Make sure your TV is set to the correct HDMI-channel to which your Chromecast is connected. If you're casting from your computer you must use the Google Chrome browser to cast. Also note that you can only use the last two versions (2nd and 3rd generation) of Google Chromecast.

HDMI cable
You can also directly connect your laptop or PC to your TV via an HDMI cable. All you need is a laptop or PC with an HDMI port.
